Wintertime service

Do you have a trusty old steed covered in mud from the last ride huddled in a pile in the corner of your garage or basement? Has your mountain bike suspension been exposed to usage that would normally be reserved for the friday night mud wrestling bout at the local strip club? Every suspension design on the market needs maintenance sooner or later. Using a mountain bike through the western Oregon winter can leave pivot bearings rusted solid, and suspension fluid looking like the juice mopped up off the floor after said friday night mud wrestling match.

We here at santiam are versed in suspesion care. We can pull the bearings from your old, crusty, corroded frame and press fresh ones back in. Our mechanics will lovingly drain the sediment from your fork lowers and replace that chipped up seal head o-ring. If you love that bike and want to enjoy a fresh bearing kit, fully serviced suspension and brake pistons that fully retract, then bring your bike down to the shop for some TLC. Our shop is like a spiritual retreat for your bike, it will feel many rides younger.
